    Small Groups

The church’s small groups lie at the heart of our church community with more than 60 people attending these groups for fellowship, prayer and learning more about God. Groups meet on most Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and during the day on Tuesdays.

Anybody wanting to join a  small group should contact our Vicar Andrew Buchanan (Contacts Page).

    Central Meetings

Larger meetings are often held in the Hermitage for teaching, prayer and praise. These will typically tackle particular themes in a series.

    Alpha

The church is active in running the Alpha course with three courses typically run each year. For more information on the Alpha Course visit http://uk.alpha.org/ or speak to Rob Richards or one of the Church Wardens. Contact can also be made through the church office – see the contacts page

    Pastoral Team

A pastoral team is active in visiting within the parish. Contact Gill Bartlett 921 1850 if you would like to join the team or know someone who might need visiting.

    Connect

Connect is a group of around 30 women of working age who meet together for a mixture of fun, fellowship and discipleship once a month, normally on a Thursday evening.

    Women’s Breakfast’s

Over the past year a series of Women’s Breakfast’s have been established. Taking advantage of the possibilities of our re-ordered church these breakfasts take place in church and can attract over 100 women from across the church community. See notices for details of future breakfasts.

    Happy Hours

Once a month there is the opportunity for ladies in the church together to come together informally in a local pub.

    Men’s Ministry

St Peter’s enjoys a better than average complement of men within it’s congregation and various activities engage this community with a fairly light touch. ‘Last Orders’ is an informal meeting in  a local pub once a month and a quarterly men’s breakfast is held on a rather smaller, but more food oriented, basis than the women’s equivalent.
