Leadership

St. Peters Church is led by Rev Andrew Buchanan who leads a team including 2 Churchwardens, Licensed Lay Ministers, the Church Council and a host of ministry leaders and volunteers.

The Churchwardens (Andrew Third and Jane Oldfield) are responsible for the overall life of the Church and work with the Church Council to lead the Church.

St. Peter’s also has 2 Licensed Lay Ministers who are trained in Christian leadership and preaching. We expect to have more LLM’s over the next few years.

The Church Council is made up of elected Church members and other leaders. The Church Council (PCC) works with the Vicar to lead every aspect of our Church life. The Church Council employs a part-time administrator who supports the Vicar and makes sure that Church operates efficiently.

In 2009 we appointed a trainee Children & Families Worker and hope to further develop our ministry team in the future.
